Israel Mbenza, LL.B
Israel joined Lema Law Chambers in March 2026. He completed his legal studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. After relocating to Canada, he worked as a judicial assistant at the Supreme Court of British Columbia, where he supported court operations and gained valuable insight into the judicial process. He also worked briefly as a Client Advisor in customer service at the Royal Bank of Canada, developing strong communication and client service skills.
Israel has experience conducting legal research, drafting court documents, and interviewing clients. He is currently performing administrative duties at Lema Law Chambers as a legal assistant and is expected to transition into an articling role in June 2026.
In his free time, Israel enjoys spending time with family, playing and watching tennis, staying active through workouts, and listening to music.
